HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL!

The 2024 SHRSL Season meet dates have been set. There’s some “wiggle” towards MOC & All-Stars season due to a theatrical price change from FBISD (and late delivery there-of), so the board is looking around for other options.

We’d like to welcome two new board members to the SHRSL Board of Directors: Meredith Bell (SK) and Betsy George (SP). Their input will be invaluable as is input from your current 2024 SHRSL returning board members: Steve Long (Pres), Tammy Schoen (VP), Melanie Remy (Sec), and our at-large members: Jeff Dethrow, Christine Molina, and Jim Linehan. We’d like to thank Dan Wagner for his service to the League over the past few years!

We’d also like to welcome back, New Territory Torpedoes and the Pecan Grove Piranhas! We are so looking forward to seeing old friends and learning more about what they’ve been up to!

Now is the time to ask your local team HOW YOU CAN HELP! All teams are looking for volunteers of all types from board members, to volunteer coordinators, to good old-fashioned meet volunteers. It’s so worth it – reach out. If you don’t know who to reach out and email the SHRSL Board and we’ll get you in touch with the right person!
