Stroked Judges, Announcers, and Meet Directors must attend a clinic every year. Every third year stroke judges, announcers, and meet directors must attend a long clinic. Most long clinics are between 2 and 3 hours of classroom “updates and teaching” as well as time watching swimmers in the water. On the off years, “short clinics” can be attended. These usually consist of a 30 minute update on technique changes, bylaw changes and other updates. All parents are encouraged to attend a long clinic every now and then, whether they intend to stroke judge or not. The information is INVALUABLE and can help you understand the rules and regulations of the strokes so you can aid your swimmers.
Clinic Dates & Information are posted on the CLINICS page >>> CLINICS
